Rectangular solid section - rss

This is a section frequently adopted for the modelling of rectangular members in steel structures.

Materials and Dimensions

Only one material (steel/ concrete) needs to be defined.

The required dimensions are as follows:

• Section width. The default value is 0.1 m
• Section height/depth. The default value is 0.2 m

Note: In SeismoStruct 2016 it is possible to apply concrete material models to the rss section type.
