Parabolic masonry model- mas_par
This is a uniaxial trilinear material model for masonry that is based on the hysteretic rules of the con_ma typical constant confinement concrete model .
Seven model-calibrating parameters must be defined in order to fully describe the mechanical characteristics of the material:
Mean Compressive strength – fc
The default value is 3500 KPa.
Mean Tensile strength – ft
The default value is 150 KPa.
Modulus of Elasticity – Ec
The default value is 1.05E+07 KPa.
Poisson Ratio
The default value is 0.20.
Strain at peak stress – εc
The default value is 0.002.
Descending branch parameter
The default value is 1.00.
Specific weight -
This is the specific weight of the material. The default value is 24 kN/m3.
