Nonlinear elastic curve - Non_lin_Elast

This hysteresis loop is a simplified version of the Ramberg Osgood model, whereby no hysteretic dissipation is allowed (the same curve is employed for loading and unloading). It has been proposed and initially programmed by Otani [1981] for modelling of prestressed concrete elements. Four parameters need to be defined in order to fully characterise this response curve:

Yield strength (Fy)
The default value is 500

Yield displacement (Dy)
The default value is 0.0023

Ramberg-Osgood Parameter ()
The default value is 5.5

Convergence limit for the Newton-Raphson procedure ()
The default value is 0.001
