Define Member Reinforcement

Longitudinal reinforcement bars can be defined in two different ways: (i) by editing the section's  reinforcement patterns or (ii) by entering single rebars through the Additional Rebars modules.

In the available reinforcement patterns users may define the number of bars in predefined locations and their diameter.

Adding single longitudinal reinforcement bars may also be carried out through the corresponding Additional Rebars module, where additional reinforcement may be introduced graphically.

Further, the transverse reinforcement may be specified, in terms of the stirrups' diameters and legs, as well as the distance between them.

It is noted that in circular columns the option of using circular hoops or spiral is available.

Finally, in jacketed sections there are different reinforcement patterns for the jacket  (new part of the member) and the pre-existing section (before the retrofit) parts of the section.
