Saving & Loading a Project

SeismoSpect has been designed to support a large number of ground-motion records that can be saved in a single file as a Project. Once a user has finished loading his/her collection of accelerograms, he/she can then save them together by selecting the File > Save as... menu command or by clicking on the Save button on the toolbar. Other features are also saved within this file such as program settings or the units system.

In order to load a project, users should select the File > Open... menu command (or click on the corresponding toolbar button ). Once the Project is selected, a window will be displayed which will show the progress on the records loading process. Notice that if a user wants to load a project that was recently used, it is likely that the latter will be shown on the File menu, thus being more readily accessible.
