Target Displacement (ASCE)

The target displacement is defined as the seismic demand derived from the elastic response spectrum in terms of displacement of an equivalent single-degree-of-freedom system. To define the target displacement of a MDOF system a number of steps have to be followed according to section 7.4.3.3 of ASCE 41-23.
